What is the Free Deadlift Mini Course?

This course is designed to make you feel more comfortable picking up and putting down a barbell. I know what it’s like to not feel comfortable with deadlifts. Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Tara. I’m a certified personal trainer and have been in the fitness industry since 2012. I am NASM certified, along with certs in kettlebells, mobility, 200 hour yoga teacher training, and an olympic weightlifting coach. Over the past decade, I have worked with thousands of people on the gym floor via group classes, yoga, and personal training sessions. In 2018, I started my transition to working with people solely in the online space. I started the TL Method, which is my monthly workout subscription with hundreds of people all over the world moving together.

It wasn’t until a couple years after I founded TL Method that I started to really get into barbell training myself. Once I understood the movement patterns, worked with a coach, and got more continuing education under my belt, I realized how many more people needed to be educated on a foundational level to feel more comfortable with a barbell.

I, like a ton of other people out there, hated deadlifts. I was too scared to do them with a barbell, let alone go heavy because I always thought I was doing them wrong and didn’t want to get hurt. And as it turns out, there is a right and wrong way to do a deadlift.

From someone that has had a back injury, shoulder impingements, and constantly tight hips, I will teach you the ways that you can do it, too!  And I’m sure that is why you are here. So WELCOME! And thank you for letting me be your coach to guide you through four deadlift variations.
