Do you struggle with sticking to a routine?

Don’t we all.

There will always be a time when you are “too busy”

Are you serious about making fitness a part of your lifestyle? I mean, really really serious?

Ok, then its a priority, perfect you can move on..

  1. Make it a priority. Because without it being a priority, you’re never going to get it done.

  2. Create a routine and sticking with it: Find something that really excites you. I mean like REALLY excites you. Don’t pretend like you like to run, or else you will always dread running. You have to find movement that you actually like to do so that you can actually stick with it. Capesh? Maybe you don’t even know what that is yet, and that’s okay! Go try out new things. There are an array of ways to move your body, just make sure it’s something you cannot wait to go do. For me, that’s lifting heavy shit and moving explosively because it makes me feel like a badass. And thats a really great feeling if you ask me!

  3. Carve out time in your day. It doesn’t matter who needs that hour of your day, they can wait. Find a time that you know you won’t cancel and that you cannot cancel. It’s a meeting with yourself that you HAVE to keep. The boss (pointing at YOU) understands that this is a mandatory meeting with your body. 1 hour every single day. Or pick however many times a week you want to make this happen.

  4. Perhaps the biggest one, find some support. I love accountabilibuddies. They are the best. They know if you don’t make it to that 5pm class you signed up for. They are waiting for you to check up on them just as much as you are. They can be friends, family, co-workers, or even online friends. Either way, it’s always better when you’re together with friends.
